The asian and australian tour with Arch Enemy has been confirmed. Waiting for some european and US american shows to come up. But at first after we did all the european festivals we'll be going to Mexico in August. See tour dates for details.

The Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf turns 20!!
Since more than 20 years young drummers learn how to play drums professional and what does music business really mean at one of the "finest schools in europe" (ct. modern drummer magazine). On June 21st this will be celebrated! David Sievers who educates since a couple of years at this school and one of the finest german drummers Peter Wrba will do a workshop about studio drumming and setting up microphones in the right way. David, both drummer and engineer and Pete, a great studio and live performer who knows the needs of engineers talk about the "both sides of the window".
This workshop gives you the chance to learn more about the requirements of musicians and audio engineers in both worlds. Pete and David try to put all their knowledge into these classes and they do it in a very humoristic way - a lot of situations do exist where one side complaines about the other but nobody or both are right!

The year starts with new tourdates I just put online.
Beginning of December last year I did a workshop about how to mic a drumset at the "Drums and Percussion" magazine workshop weekend with big success! As there will be a lot of those workshops all around Germany I hopefully meet you there! Find some pictures of that event in my gallery.

Finally after 6 weeks my data base has been recovered. Well, I'll upload the pitures of the last couple tours in the next days. Check it out!
The just finished tour with Threshold, Communic, Machine Men and Serenity has turned out to be really great! After adjusting everyones needs to a level anybody else could live with the tour ran smoothly to an end. I wish everyone beeing on this tour all the best for the future and hope to meet again somewhere!

I will manage Joe Bonamassas european tour from the distance. Because of double bookings in my dates I can't join the crew in the Nightliner and will take care of Joes needs in advance.

Some more dates with Joe Bonamassa in Germany and Switzerland in march. All the gigs will be supported by special guest Henrik Freischlader with his band. I'm definitely looking forward to these dates!

I will see Dragon Force! again!!
Mid of April I'll be on tour with Freedom Call supporting Dragon Force. Having been their tour manager in 2004 as support of W.A.S.P I made my own experiences with them. I hope a process of learning took place in their heads! :)

Tomorrow it goes for the first time with Lydie Auvray on route. My attendance with one of her concerts provided for me the certainty that it becomes a very pleasant job, on which I look forward to!
Monday I will meet Joe Bonamassa in Zurich again, in order to commit four further concerts with the highly gifted guitarist from LA. I am pleased much, since the crew and I together-found good!

The sixth expenditure of live DVD magazine "BoomBox" was published in december. It's been one year ago that I met Frank Herrmann being forced to work for him by the great concept behind the magazine! :)
A lot of interviews and live recordings later BB has been released for the sixth time! Like on the ones before you'll find some stuff I did on the DVD. Let's clap the hands for the next six!!

"Wishbone Ash" are coming on tour in January. I'll do tour management and hope to see a lot of you fellows in the crowd!!

"Threshold" are coming on tour in 2007! They just mixed their new record that'll be released before the tour in April. We'll be on the road from April 14th 'til April 28th doing the last show in Moscow! More shows will be in July. Check out my tourdates and "Thresholds" website for further details!

The british power metal band "Powerquest" is coming on tour next February. More details coming soon!

Latest news very quickly:
"Villaines" last show in Hamburg was very successful! My sub FOH technician Gert Krenz and the band worked perfectly together and I'm glad to here that! Although drummer and first guitarist couldn't do the show either everyone was happy at the end of the day!
Meanwhile I was on tour with Canadas Newcomer "The Waking Eyes" rocking Trebur Open Air Festival. On our day off we went to "Kwis'da knobs" recording studio in Oberhausen to nail some tracks on tape. Maybe one or two will be on the upcoming record!
On August 12th I'll be in Koblenz to meet the guys from "P:lot". I'm doing FOH for them on the 1st of September in Duisburg. This time they are supporting "Silbermond" again at a huge Festival that's part of "Rhein in Flammen". I guess it will be fun!!

I just recieved the bad news that "Beyond Fear" will not be on tour in June 2006 - except Festival dates.

THREE DVD’s I was with have just been released: "Smoke and Mirrors" by Arena, "Piano Drums Live" by Andelo Kelly and "Miking Drums" with Manni von Bohr and me by Beyerdynamic which is just available at Beyerdynamic.

Miking Drums is the titel of a DVD that's going to be released by Beyerdynamic on March the 30th on the international music fare in Frankfurt, Germany.
Including sound examples without any EQ or other dynamic, sound changing devices on it, comments made by me and Germanys “Pope Of Drumming” (Modern Drummer) Manni von Bohr who also did some great drumming to his own songs, this DVD gives Drummers a chance to learn how to play better sound wise, how to perfect his playing and what’s really needed to get a good result live and in the studio! All recordings and the mix have been done by me at Twisted Knobs studios in Oberhausen, Germany.
This DVD will be available with English subtitles and as a free give away to microphone sets by Beyerdynamic!

Right now I'm on tour with a band from Canada called The Waking Eyes. Check out their Webside!! They are supporting Louis XIV who are playing six gigs in Germany. It's fun!!

Arenas Concert in Paris on 17th of Oktober has just been cancelled.

There is a new date for Arena on this tour: Riff's Bar in Swindon-UK on 14th of Oktober!

The british prog-rock band Arena is soon going on a five-week-tour throughout Europe and to my very pleasure I have been confirmed as their soundengineer. I hope to see some of you at the shows! Check the tourdates and Arena for details!

In June 2005 I'm doing a DVD with "beyerdynamic". Together with germans "pope of drumming" (modern drummer magazine) Manni von Bohr who is on the road now for many decades we try to give as many tipps as possible for miking a drumset right and how to mix your way of playing best!
The DVD will be released in english, too, and will be a give away from beyerdynamic. The date of release is not yet clear but you'll get to know it here as soon as possible!

The final Party of "Bayern 3 Wintertour" in Garmisch (GER) was a big success! On stage on friday: "Hot Banditos", "Matt" and "Antonia". "DJ Ötzi" cancelled his gig because of a cold.
"DJ Bobo" and "Patrick Nuo" rocked the Richard Strauss Platz in Garmisch on saturday and made people dance the hole night!

DJ Bobo and Patrick Nuo are playing on an open-air concert in Garmisch (Germany) next weekend. Guess it'll be fun and a lot snow hopefully!

On January 16th 2005 Andreas "Henner" Allendörfer the boss of AFM-Records and singer of the band "Squealer" died in a car accident. There's a new gallery made just for him. rip

Back from the first ‚Anatolian Days“ in Berlin on 12th of December and it was great! The Audience got fat Rock grooves (Bertram Engel - Peter Maffay, Udo Lindenberg), superb Fusion attacks (Ralf Gustke - Xavier Naidoo, Söhne Mannheims; Manni von Bohr - Randy Hansen, Independent), killer machinegun Doublebass grooves (Fritz Randow - Saxon; Randy Black - Annihilator, Primal Fear) up to an innovating presentation by ‘Angelo Kelly’s “Piano Drums”. After SEVEN hours everybody from the Audience, Crew and Artists were really happy that everything went well.
Many thanks to the Crew from the “Wabe” in Berlin and to all the students of endorser and organizer “Tyronne Silva” for helping. Great Job!
